My name is Daniel O’Brian Connor, and I’m the founder of Lucky Life Coaching. I was born on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17th, a date that had people calling me “lucky” my whole life. But I’ve learned something different: luck isn’t something that is given, it’s something you make. That mindset has carried me through every challenge, and it’s the foundation of what I teach today.

After high school, I joined the United States Air Force and almost seven years, and twenty four countries later I finished my service in Germany. During my time in, I was involved in an accident, damaging my spine from L3 through S1.
The doctors told me I’d live in pain for the rest of my life. They prescribed handfuls of pills and even suggested spinal fusion. For a year and a half, I tried to follow their plan, until the prescriptions left me with more issues, more pain, and no real path forward, besides a fusion. That’s when I decided enough was enough.
I flushed the meds, walked away from the quick fixes, and chose the harder but truer path: to rebuild myself, no matter how long it took.
I quit drinking. I changed how I ate. I started studying health, nutrition, and functional fitness, not just to get stronger, but to get better. I stopped ego lifting and began training for longevity, flexibility, and performance. I went from the kid who could never touch his toes to the man who focuses on being mobile, strong, and durable for life.
That decision changed everything. And it’s the reason I coach today.
I know what it’s like to be stuck in pain, burned out, or frustrated by doctors telling you to “just live with it.” I know the feeling of searching for answers and finding only band-aids.
That’s why I built Lucky Life Coaching, to give men a different path. My mission is to help you reclaim your body, your mindset, and your drive. I’ll push you to be accountable, disciplined, and consistent, not just in the gym, but in every area of life.
